Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong unveiled the PAP team that could contest Marine Parade GRC in the upcoming General Elections.
In his Facebook update, the likely members include Mr Goh Chok Tong, MSF Minister Tan Chuan-Jin, Associate Professor Fatimah Lateef and Mr Seah Kian Peng. MP of the soon to be dissolved Moulmein-Kallang GRC Edwin Tong is expected to replace Tin Pei Ling.
Mr Goh shared that it was at his request that the party send Edwin Tong to be tested in Joo Chiat and said that this is most likely to be the Marine Parade team.
Although friends have suggested him to retire from politics, others have also asked him to remain. Mr Goh Chok Tong indicated that he will reveal his final decision during the National Day dinner on 14 August 2015.
