Dear Editors,
I saw your news article announcing that Lui Tuck Yew has volunteer to retire during the next election because of the mrt breakdowns. I just don't understand what logic is this?

Why must Lui Tuck Yew be responsible for the train breakdown? Machine surely will be wear and tear and there is a life span isn't it?
It's just like most people's knowing smartphones can last you for 2 or 3 years is good enough already right? If your phone spoil, will you ask the CEO of the company to responsible for the phone are not lasting? Ask the CEO to resign?
MRT had been used for 20 over years, it's time to change or upgrade right, but it's need time...after the last train back to depot than they can start to service or changing the parts, checking on the track, after must have a trial test to make sure every thing is fine, may I know how many hours they have for the servicing?
They have to make sure by 6am the train have to be ready to serve the public, they had only 3 or 4 hours the most...please lah, do you all know how long is the MRT track?
Expect to complete it over the night or just a short period? How possible? That's NOT FAIR to him to be responsible...
