On Thursday, The Reform Party unveiled its candidates for West Coast GRC and Radin Mas SMC. Leading the four man "A" team to take on the PAP is party chief Kenneth Jeyaretnam together with Chairman Andy Zhu, Darren Soh and Noraini Yunus.
As for Radin Mas SMC, businessman Kumar Appavoo will be fielded against PAP's Sam Tan. Mr Appavoo is the director of an oil and gas company and contested in West Coast GRC during GE2011.
Party Chief Jeyaretnam also announced that the party is working on its full manifesto but among its initiatives is to include a monthly $500 pension for senior citizens above 65 years old and child benefits of $300 for all children aged under 16. This is on top of campaigning for more transparency from the Singapore government.
