According to a recent poll by Families for Life, more people derive happiness from spending time with their families. Conducted in July, the poll also ound out that 45% of Singaporeans would like to spend more quality time with their loved ones, with many citing long working hours and household chores as top reasons for not being able to do so.
The survey was conducted through Facebook and at various Families for Life events.
71% of the 1,252 respondents polled said that spending time with their families makes them the happiest, up 4% from last year.
People are spending about 6 to 12 hours on average a week with their families, compared to the 2 to 6 hours a week in a survey conducted last year.
