According to Bloomberg news, Lee Kuan Yew's daughter, Lee Wei Ling, and the late Prime Minister's younger son, Lee Hsien Yang, have filed a court case relating to an agreement made between the government and their late father.
As executors of the late LKY's estate, they filed a court application on 2nd September related to the "custody and use" of interviews given by the former prime minister to the government's Oral History Department.
In a statement by the Attorney-General, they said that “The government will establish the proper interpretation and status of the agreement before the court.”
Lee Hsien Yang has declined to comment, while Dr Lee Wei Ling has yet to issue any clarifications.
The case is filed under serial number Lee Wei Ling, Lee Hsien Yang v Attorney-General, OS816/2015. Singapore High Court.
