24 year-old Gaysorn "Looksorn" Limmahasamut, who won the second runner-up in the Miss Maxim 2015 contest, has been arrested with her Singaporean manager boyfriend in Bangkok last week for drug possession.
She and Singaporean modelling agent, Jonathan Low You Ting, were found with 5.3gm of methamphetamine (better known by its abbreviated form, Meth) at a condominium and are being held at Ratchada Criminal Court jail. Drug tests confirmed that both Gaysorn and Low tested positive for the drug.
After news broke of the couple's arrest, news outlets were quick to publicly shame the couple. Photos of the two were splashed on news pages in Thailand as soon as the two were paraded before reporters by police officers.
Maxim Magazine Thailand has already said it would drop Gaysorn after the scandal.
