Ok, you've pissed me off long enough, so I'm going to make a big deal out of this:
It's been more than 2 weeks since the appeal of my sentence, and the police have not yet returned my confiscated items back.
I thought that once cunt judge jasvender kaur issued my sentence, my items would be handed back, I was wrong.
My lawyers said once the appeal of my sentence was over, then the police would immediately return my items back, they were also wrong.
Actually, last Monday, one whole week after my appeal, bastard investigative officer, jason Chua, called my Dad, and told him he could come collect my items from Bedok police station, the following day. However a few hours later, jason called back again and said the collection of my items had to be postponed, he didn't give any explanation why.
One of the reasons I can think of is that the day before they planned to return my items, they stumbled upon even more private Microsoft Word documents from my laptop they haven't read ,and had to postpone returning them, so as to ensure that they can fully invade my(and my mother’s) privacy, before returning the items back.
I don’t think breaking the law doesn't give the police the rights to take whatever they want without my permission, and return those items whenever they want (As mentioned before, in addition to my laptop and many other items, they also took 2 empty thumbdrives, a book by lee kuan yew, my scattered notes on video games and a Christian bible. Will any of those items aid in their investigation?).
This is stealing isn't it? You should go to jail for this. But no, because they are police appointed by the Government, they are allowed to commit a crime and get away with it scot-free.
Now I know what you're thinking, but no, suing them will be completely fruitless, they will win the court course because the police are appointed by the Government, I'll just waste money on lawyers and court fees, the judge is just going to let them be. And actually, the police needs a court order from the judge, so that they will be allowed to return my items back, a court order that was probably not issued until that Monday.
So now I finally understand, when your country' is run by criminals, the one who shouldn't be considered a criminal is the one who is sent to jail for a Lee Kuan Yew video. And it’s wonderful how people are going to attempt to validate the police’s actions saying that ‘well, this is what you get when you break the law’, so the police are exempted from breaking the law themselves so long as their victims are ex-criminals. How are you able to live with yourself saying ‘based on justice and equality’ every morning?
Unjust leaders are only able to maintain power in a country that has voting rights, if the people that vote are immoral themselves. Birds of the same feather flock together. Singapore fucking sucks.
