This was shared by my son who attended RP's diploma course as a guinea pig in renewable energy.
During one of the semester, a PRC lady was lecturing the class in Chinese/Mandarin and the class consists of PRCs and locals.
Almost 80% don't know what she was lecturing about especially the Mandarin twang from PRC.
The local students were helped by their PRC counterpart students who translated in broken English.
Are we being shortchanged by our education system?
