Numerous contributors have submitted a compromising video and suggestive photos of a former Singaporean national gymnast who is currently embroiled in a leaked sex video scandal.
Going by the online persona Yalegirl, the former national gymnast is seen posing topless in the photos. The video allegedly shows the gymnast engaging in sex with an unknown man whose face did not appear in the video. Netizens could not confirm whether she had posted the photos and video online herself.
According to our contributors, the gymnast featured in the videos and photos was one of Singapore's darlings for gymnastics sports events. She achieved high accolades in the 2007 SEA Games, and even represented Singapore at the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
She is currently pursuing her studies at Yale.
The compromising footage came as a shock to some supporters, who expressed disbelief that the former gymnast would be caught up in this scandal. Links to 2 tumblr accounts, where the photos and videos have been posted, have been circulating like wildfire among netizens.
