MALAY MUSLIMS SHOULD NOT KEEP PLAYING THE VICTIM IN HIRING ISSUES BECAUSE IT MIGHT BACKFIRE ON THEM

Dear Editor,

Actually I need Malays opinion here.

I have some thoughts in me and I need your feedback.

Sometimes I wonder if it is good for Malays to take job hiring issues into the public because while they might get that company into the negative spotlight but the end consequences are it might cause a lot more bosses/companies out there to view the Malay Muslim community who use religious issues as a threat to force them to hire them and over time this might cause people to view Muslim people as too troublesome to hire.

But at the same time I can also understand what the Malay community is going through facing this sort of bias and discrimination at work so I can understand why they want to do exposing in public.

I am not disagreeing with the Muslim doing here.

I write because I am worried for you and I don't know whether taking this course of action will end up helping the Malay community or harming themselves instead.

I hope people understand the meanings in my words and don't anyhow misinterpret it and do quarrel with me.

I am not a Malay I understand there is difficulty for minorities when it come to work/hiring issues but I don't know whether the severity of these issues are real or exaggerated.

Anyway I still hope MOM will come up with laws to protect minorities workers rights instead of letting people take things into their own hands as the consequences is unpredictable.
