Seems like nowadays more and more people are finding worms in their food. Just last month some worms and maggots were found in a MacDonald's breakfast set and McSpicy burger, and this afternoon, another Stomper found a worm in his brinjal bought from the Yong Tau Fu stall at the Raffles City food court today.
Stomper Worminbringal said: "I was almost done with the bowl of noodles and decided to dip the fried brinjal in the chilly sauce and put the whole juicy brinjal in my mouth.
"But it was too big, so I had to bite it first.
"Cooked brinjal is usually soft and juicy inside but there was a crunch in this brinjal.
"To my horror, I found a worm inside. It was gross.
"I brought the brinjal with the worm back to the stall and they did a refund of $0.70 to me -- the price of the brinjal only.
The Stomper advices all vegetable lovers to be cautious while eating, as the brinjal looked perfectly fine on the outside.
