My Wife just called the police regarding a friend who was being forced into prostitution and working in a pub in Singapore. The victim is from Philippines and is here on an entertainer pass.
Her passport is now in the hands of her "agent" as she is trying to get it back as she desperately wants to leave Singapore to go back to her country. The 2 police officers arrived and told her that they should settle this with MOM and left the house??
Having given all the required leads and the outcome is as such? She is in a state of stress and unwary of what to expect when she has to solicit customers tonight till her "debts" are paid. If this matter is not throughly sought after, i will have to take this up with other means nessesary.
This is not right. All she wants is her passport and leave the country.
