FERNVALE RESIDENTS: BUILD MORE SHELTERED WALKWAYS, WE GET DRENCHED WHEN IT RAINS

This is a petition to get Sengkang West MP Dr Lam Pin Min to request for the addition of sheltered walkways from void decks to bus stops in Fernvale.

We notice that there is a lack of sheltered walkways from our void decks to the bus stops and Seletar Mall. Whenever it rains, we are often face with the problem of getting drenched just to get anywhere.

There is a huge number of young kids who are living in this estate, and studying around the area, walking from our blocks to the bus stops to bring our kids to school had always been a hassle when its raining. Not only are the kids affected, people who have to take public transport to get to work, are often left drenched if we have to walk to the bus stop or nearby LRT stations.

I hope the authorities can look into this, and make the necessary changes, so that we can have a better living environemnt.
