CANADIAN: S'POREANS ARE RACIST FOR USING THE WORD "ANG MOH"

While there is never an excuse to use a country's flag for a few table cloth, the response on here is nothing short or bigoted racism. I guess Singaporeans aren't as polite as they tell the world they are.

Where to begin.

First the headline: "ANG MOHS USE SINGAPORE FLAG AS TABLE CLOTH FOR THEIR PARTY"

Not matter what the reason, why would you use a derogatory or what some called a racist slur for a non Singaporean?

Then the second part: "These Ang Mos really have no respect for our country and our flag! They come to our country to steal our jobs, our women and now they even think that they can step all over us by insulting and disrespecting our sovereignty"

There is the bigoted slur again but this basically is being written by a bigoted, xenophobic racist. "Steal our jobs, our women" is first assuming a lot and the second just tells you eveything you need to know about the one writing the letter.

Shame on this paper for actually publishing it!! If Singaporeans don't want foreigners to come to their country then tell everyone that and close your tourism offices. Close your borders and do your own thing. Don't interact with the rest of society if that is what you feel. Become another North Korea as that is a exactly what this posting is trying to emulate. All it was, was xenophobic racism.....
