I wanted to wash my car and drove down to the washing bay at the multi storey car park just now. A man was washing a merc there in the middle of the 2 washing bays. Stopped there & had a brief eye contact with him. Had to park at the handicap lot to wash instead. Took my pail to fetch water at the water dispenser. Obviously, he saw me but there was no response from him. I had to waste some water as my pail was not big enough for the flow duration (usually I would splash the car as the water flows) and had to carry the heavy pail of water from the soapy and wet bay he had created.
I collected water twice, once with the shampoo and once just water to rinse. Both times he saw but there was not a single shy gesture or word from him.
It's sad that community living has deteriorated until this stage.
