Just weeks after the courts ruled that warning letters issued by the Singapore Police Force (SPF) were not legally binding, the police have now issued another warning letter to the vandal behind the defacement of several Singapore Democratic Party posters during the GE 2015 hustlings last September.
The SDP had lodged a police report after discovering that the posters for one of its candidates, Jaslyn Go, had been cut.
Posters put up by various political parties, including the People's Action Party were also defaced during the heat of last year's election. 3 vandals were reportedly brought in for police questioning for the defacement of some PAP posters, but the investigations have yet to throw up any results.
