Dear editors,
On the 15th Feb 2016, my wife was almost "butchered" by the Culina staff at NTUC Finest at Zhongshan Park. The Culina staff tried to overcharged her for 222 grams of beef with a S$72.00 instead of S$15.98!
The staff was unapologetic when confronted by my wife who only found out after making payment. He simply dismissed her with the "correct" price sticker and told her to get the refund at the customer service counter then proceeded to joke and laugh loudly behind the counter with his colleagues.
The nonchalance attitude of the staff is simply unacceptable and gave us the impression that customer service is simply not their priority. We even felt that the "mistake" was actually intentional as it was not a busy time and she was the only customer at this time.
We are regular shoppers at this outlet and we buy our meat from this Culina butcher in your outlet about twice a week. We look forward to your advice on the action you are taking to prevent your vendors from tarnishing the good reputation of your brand.
