So you see that trolley lying rogue in the void deck?

You see it at the corner of some staircase landing, carpark or taxi stand.

Heck, we even saw it at a BBQ pit!

Do you know that NTUC FairPrice loses about 1,000 trolleys every year in more than 90 of the stores that they operate in? Fairprice spends around $150,000 every year on repairing and recovering trolleys left in random places.

Another supermarket chain, Sheng Siong, loses 90 metal and 180 plastic trolleys each month. This means that $120,000 is loss on just trolleys.

Even the $1 dollar coin deposit for the trolley does not deter the upward trend of abandoned trolleys.
