Time :- 1615
I was driving along Yio Chu Kang Road in the direction of Ang Mo Kio, before the junction of CTE, saw this trailer carrying a crane. It might seems normal to anyone including the Police patrol car beside him. To me, it is not normal. At the next traffic junction, I happen to stop beside the Police patrol car, I wind down my window, pointing to the direction of the trailer. The patrol car also wind down their window, front and back officers ask me why. Then following is my few seconds conversation with them.
Me : Look, that truck so wide
Police : why ?
Me : so wide, dangerous
Police : ya hor, why so wide ah ?
Me : No violation of traffic rules ?
( traffic light turn green, we moved off )
I really wished to know how Traffic Police & Land Transport Authority look at this matter. Police patrol car are not vigilant to take action to stop that trailer & demand an escort for the trailer.
