In Singapore, you can print the image of Jesus on merchandise and sell it to commemorate the death and Resurrection of Christ during Easter.
But apparently, you can't commercialize the name of Lee Kwan Yew on his death anniversary.
The image of Lee Kwan Yew is more protected than even Jesus. Let that sink in for awhile.
