Rui En has apologised for her behaviour with regard to her statement after she crashed her BMW into a parked motorcycle.

"As a public figure, this accident has drawn everyone's attention and inconvenienced everyone, for which I apologise"

Rui En's manager added that the line "Do you know who I am?" meant that Rui En had intended to tell the owner of the motorcycle that she would not leave the accident scene. Rui En has apologised to the owner.

The statement released by Hype Records said, "Due to some misjudgment, she accidentally knocked over a stationary motorcycle."

"She had no intentions of ignoring or even running away from her responsibility."

Earlier this year, Rui En was involved in a car accident. She had knocked her then white BMW into a vehicle along Lornie Road.

According to Toggle, she drove off.

The victim posted Rui En's car plate number online in order to find out the identity of the driver. Rui En claimed that she didn't know she had hit a car. When she realised it, she took her initiative to contact the owner. Both parties did a private settlement.

Her manager clarified that it was a misunderstanding. Rui En did not mean to cause trouble and then flee.

Rui En will attend the Stars Award on 24 April.
