Facebook user Suzanne G L Tan posted a picture on Facebook yesterday and criticized the Road Transport Department of Malaysia (JPJ) of forcing her to wear a sarong in their premises because staff felt that she was indecently dressed.
Putting up pictures of her attire during her visit, she wrote that she was offended because her attire was not considered "indecent". The staff told her that unless she wore the sarong, she would not be served.
"I go dressed like this (picture of her wearing a T-shirt and a skirt just above the knees). Indecent 'meh'?" She wrote.
"So I look like this (referring to her picture wearing the sarong), only to sit in front of a counter window where only top part of my body (is) visible to the officer. I don't know if I should laugh or cry."
