The next gen. of Singaporeans are getting more and more self-centered. When I observe primary and secondary school kids nowadays especially, the way they talk, their attitudes, and the choice of words they use, it scares me honestly. Someone needs to tell them that this isn't Tumblr and they aren't special snowflakes.
Parents should also play a part and not over pamper their kids - more and more are taking the easier way out by conceding to their kids' cries and screams to avoid embarrassment in public places. You can easily see this in effect at food courts and restaurants, with the children glued to their iPads and tablets while having their meals.
This kind of behavior will only cultivate a sense of self-entitlement, and possibly stutter Singapore's growth in the future.
