A 59 year old female cyclist was killed on the spot when a cement mixer failed to stop and ran over her in Yishun. She was cycling with two other women across a pedestrian crossing when the tragedy struck.
The woman Madam Lin Shui Yu was killed on the spot. This happened at the T-junction of Yishun Ave 9. SCDF was alerted to the accident at 11:25 am and pronounced her dead at the scene. Three women were cycling across a pedestrian crossing in Yishun when tragedy struck.
The 50 year old cement mixer driver was arrested by the police.
