According to Chinese paper Wanbao, popular Yoga studio Sadhana Sanctuary in Orchard area has closed down without warning. Its sudden closure left members frustrated and more than 200 of them have filed police reports.
According to ACRA records, Sadhana Sanctuary is owned by Russian woman Yulia Kalach who graduated from NUS faculty of Law majoring in Finance and Corporate law.
The owner remained uncontactable. It is believed she is now in the United States.
According to members, they were informed that the studio is under renovation until end of this July but security officers in the building revealed that there has been no renovation for the past 2 months.
Members paid more than $2,000 each for an annual package with the studio.
The website of the studio is still online. It can accessed at: http://www.sadhanasanctuary.com/
Do you think members will get their fees back?
