Dear editor
I saw this incident on Facebook and I thought the kind deed by Mr Prabjoth Singh deserve more recognition.
SBS bus driver ask soldiers to get off the next stop because he don't have enough money on his ezlink.
Our soldiers are protecting OUR country, keeping OUR country safe. Yet they are treated like this. I urge all bus driver, to close 1 eye and be reasonable
"This soldier here had no money left in his ez-link card and to my understanding was trying to negotiate with the bus driver to let him on. The bus driver told him to get off at the next stop. Just as he got off the bus I told him to get back on the bus and that I'll pay the small fee for you. He called me a life saver when he was the one in uniform. #careforsoldiers Not even in his Uniform did he get some appreciation for his service. Not asking to give all Ns men a free bus ride. Just appreciate and understand how much they have to go through everyday."
