Dear A.S.S
I'm a resident staying in Tampines and I came across this Facebook page (Eunos SG50 Local Delights) from my friend that grassroots leaders from Eunos Community Club, are recruiting volunteers to prepare Breakfast Sets and reach out to 50 charitable organisations nationwide.
Me and my friend is quite surprised that the poster (please refer) did not include any National Environmental Agency (NEA) logo in it when the volunteers are handling FOOD which the FOOD will be delivered to 50 different charitable organisations NATIONWIDE. (HOW MANY HUMANS WILL BE CONSUMING THE FOOD!!?)
I personally think that this volunteers should have a basic CERTIFICATE showing that they are CERTIFIED to handle/prepare food.
Me and my friend is extremely concern on how the after-effect of the food will be when the food is given out to beneficiaries.
This is just our two cents worth of thoughts, and hope that the respective department concern will be alerted on this matter.
Regards,
Chole Tan
