A 26 year old man has apparently developed breasts because his favourite finger food is laden with hormones. Mr Li, a Chinese college graduate, visited doctors after his chest began to change.
Medics told him to lay off fried chicken wings and drumsticks and add more fruit and vegetables to his diet, as the hormones in the white meat were the reason behind his inflated bust.
Gynecomastia – the enlargement of breast tissue in males – can be caused when an imbalance of oestrogen and testosterone occurs, but there are no reputable studies which officially link the condition to diet.
