Dear A.S.S,
Please see this screenshot of an extremely irresponsible Indian expatriate, who says that he is unable to repay his bills and loans to local telcos and banks. He says that because of his financial liabilities, he would like to leave Singapore permanently, but is worried that the companies or banks might lodge a complaint with ICA to detain him and prevent him from leaving.
In the first place, isn't this called cheating or fraud? He has taken money from the bank with $7.5K outstanding for his education, clocked up to $3.5K of credit card bills, and an unknown amount of telecommunications bills. Yet at the first sign of financial trouble, he decides to leave Singapore and go back to India?
I really wonder how many dishonest foreigners have been doing this without Singaporeans' knowledge. These lying cheats are taking money from our Singapore banks, spending it on themselves and then running away without paying back their dues!
With so much bad debts in the Singapore banking sector from all these a**holes, it's no wonder Singapore credit rating has dropped! Simply outrageous and disgusting behavior!
H.W.
