Dear Editors,
I was at a dormitory located in the North East part of Singapore and shocked to see an auxiliary police officer irresponsibly fast asleep while on night shift, at about 2.30am. The policeman was armed with a gun and left residents to walk in and out whenever they wanted as he slept soundly.
What if someone jumped him and took his gun from him and hurt someone? This is unfair to the other guards who work with them, they stay awake while he relax and sleep on the job?
