Fellow Singaporeans, pls share
Have you noticed that every GE/ BE/ PE there will be BOOKIES (illegal gamblers) around spreading rumours which strong political party/ PE candidate has higher winning chance and voters will bet accordingly ?
Assume you bet on political party A/ PE candidate A to win, you will surely vote for political party A/ PE candidate A and persuade people around you to vote the same way.
Many Chinese tend to gamble and their majority votes share can affect the overall GE/ BE/ PE results significantly.
Strangely, we have not seen these BOOKIES been reported and caught by the police so far. Could they be sent by some people to manipulate the vote results in favour of a particular political party/ PE candidate ? Who are these people behind the BOOKIES ?
These BOOKIES are the stumbling blocks of Democracy manipulating the voting results through financial incentives/ rewards.
We need to alert people around us not to fall into the snare and report BOOKIES activities immediately to police.
