During peak hours on Friday morning, train commuters had to endure crowded and suffocating train platforms due to a track fault along the Circle Line. SMRT announced the incident at 7.27am and warned passengers to expect 15 minutes delays to their usual travel plans.
Although SMRT claims to have cleared the fault 10 minutes later and normal service was resumed at 8.09am, platforms and trains were still crowded causing frustration among commuters.
Many took to social media to complaint about their bad experiences on a Friday morning.
