On 18 May 2016 at approximately 6.45am, an 11 year old boy committed suicide at 470A Fernvale Link.
The neighbours were reportedly woken by a loud sound. That was followed by the cryings of a woman.
According to passers-by, the mother of the deceased was crying next to his body. His father apologised to the boy continuously. It was a heart-wrenching sight.
Apparently, an argument broke out in the morning. Shortly after the boy's father went downstairs to retrieve his car, the boy committed suicide.
The boy was a Primary 5 student from an "elite" school. It was understood that he was supposed to go to school to collect his exam papers so that his parents can acknowledge his results and sign it.
